Cookie Bribes
So today to get out of my quiet, quiet apartment me and my roommate took Ezra (my roommate's dog but I've shared custody for her entire 5 years of life) out for a walk in the Park of Roses. She was completely lost, like myself, and just kept whining real loud and kept search for Argus. She never spent one day away from Argus and he always mothered her, comforted her by licking her ears when she was upset or scared. She didn't really notice anyone or anything today but kept on sniffing the air and ground getting excited at a dog far away on the other side of the park. We think she was thinking it was Argus because when she caught a scent of him and discovered it wasn't her brother her mood dropped back down. There were a series of photos of her looking sad and obviously looking for something, her brother dog, but she and the photos were breaking my heart even more than it already is. To try to cheer her up I took a bag of doggie cookies and kept trying to bribe her to a better mood, but she barely looked at me and just kept on searching for him. Eventually through sweet talking her and repeatedly asking her if she wanted a cookie she came over to get one from me.
