Mystery Box

The inside top of this old handmade wooden box is stenciled D & Co., Drain, Standard Oil Co., and other indecipherable words. There's a town named Drain here in Oregon.

On the bottom are hand carved spacers for who-knows-what items.

The old box is one of several that Mrs. OMC has given me over the years. I cleaned and oiled it in the pumphouse over the weekend.
