There was lots of activity this evening : 3 long boats and one huge barge moored up, one boat going through the lock, runners, dog walkers and 'courting' couples parked up - they soon drove off in a cloud off dust due to peering pedestrians!

The family who live next to the water treatment plant, whose house is right on the canal side, have a notice in their window saying that their chocolate brown Cocker spaniel has been stolen and the children are devastated.

They also sell eggs, £1.00 for 6.
