Coniston Water

My first retrospective entry; as you can hopefully tell from the photo, this was the middle if nowhere an it's reassuring in many ways that there are still places which remain slightly less touched by modern life: no internet! So I am going to let myself off... Went for a slightly cliched jetty shot, but the view from there was particularly fine and I had done some walk outs on there earlier and gotten to know the wood pretty well. Great day with a run, long walk to see some man made tarns at the top of a hill, a row in the quad and then a bonfire to finish it all off. Great time spent with lovely people and friends.
