26 today: Chrome Hill & Parkhouse Hill

Our daughter Sarah is 26 today. We went with her, Matt her partner and our second eldest son, John for lunch at the Royal Oak in Hurdlow Derbyshire. If you are ever in the area it is a must.

Being 26 made me feel rather old:) After lunch we went a mile up the road to see Chrome & Parkhouse hills from above Crowdecote. I decided to makethe hills look old too. In fact they are both part of an old sea bed. Fossils abound on the surface and because of this, the hills are protected to safeguard their treasure.
