Grills in Paris

Our friend Anne gave a lovely Sunday lunch for us and three friends at her apartment in Paris 9e. This is a view from her open window across the way, featuring the grillwork which is a ubiquitous element in buildings throughout Paris. Marylee has known Anne since her stay in Paris in 1990-91. Here she is in 2011 with her daughter Rosa, who this year entered the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (near us) as a freshman.
