Lava Boy

An early start this morning- I woke up hearing the songthrush on next doors tree and couldn't get back to sleep.

I walked the dogs and read the paper while husband snored on. We had arranged to meet a friend at 10.30 for a bit of off road running in the hills above Overtoun. We took Daisy of course, she could do that all day long. It was our first run for a while so it was tough but I'm pleased we did it.

From there I picked up my newly serviced bike - cycled it home, running like a dream - who knew that new brake pads would make such a difference? Then on to mum and dads for some brunch. The kids were there too and we did a bit of drawing after the food. We all had to design our own super heroes - Lava Boy is in creation here- it's actually very good- and he also designed Aqua Boy. Much better than my super hero, who shall remain un-named in this journal!!
