Where Snail Trails Cross

I'm used to seeing snail and slug trails on land, but this is a first for me. A very brave snail making his?/her? way across the sand. Not wise with so many birds about. I have never seen the tracks made by a snail on the beach before - a ploughed track across the sand. Making it's own journey in life. I hope the tide came in before the birds.
