Hide and seek

Lovely sunny day today. Hubby and youngest son walked to my parents' house, eldest son did a 6k walk yesterday so wasn't keen to do another walk, and I wasn't feeling up to it. So we drove to meet them there.

Lovely lunch with homemade jam sponge and custard for pudding (boys request it every time we go!). Then on to the other grandparents for tea (how lucky are we?!).

The boys have loved playing hide and seek with their cousins in this garden ever since they were little. Apparently a duck is sitting on some eggs in the garden, but she's doing a good job of hiding. I'm hoping I'll be able to get a blip of the ducklings when they hatch in a few weeks' time before they waddle off :-)
