Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday services start out with a celebration. The children walk around the church waving palm branches while the congregation sings and waves their branches. The mood quickly changes, however, when the readings begin telling the story of the what happened to Jesus after he triumphantly rode into Jerusalem that day. I like to fold my branch into a cross and keep it around the house until Easter. I put it in with these flowers to take a picture because I thought the colors were beautiful.
Another weekend quickly past. As I look out my window now I see I am missing a bright orange sunset. Oh well, it's time for The Good Wife.
