headwaters

we escaped, taking a day to see some wild Florida. We took an airboat tour of Lake Cypress, headwaters to the Everglades, where we saw Alligators, birds and flowers. Our unintentional detour there took us past cattle ranches, trees decked in Spanish Moss and a ghost town called Kenansville with a hotel that is said to have given Elvis' song "Heartbreak Hotel" it's name.
The scenery was a little different yesterday.
