after rain showers on and off all day, J, N, and I took a quick trip to the beach for a walk. When we first got there, we were struck with the dark sky and turquoise water, with just a couple small spots of blue between the clouds. There was a light sprinkle as we headed down the boardwalk, and we were just saying "wouldn't it be neat if there was a rainbow", when suddenly there it was! It seemed very close, and we could see both ends where they almost exploded into the water- there were colors seemingly bouncing about on the top of the sea. The rain got progressively harder, and we eventually made a run for the car. If you notice light colored smudges in the photo, it would be the rain drops on my lens- it was worse in some of the shots I liked better.
