2nd Annual Beard Ride

My son, Chris, invited me to join him on the 45 mile “Beard Ride” bicycle tour this year.

Luckily one only needs to sport a beard (or be sponsored by a bearded rider) to qualify for this event.

I rode mostly with Chris and Dan who are in the photo on the way out from Albany, Oregon.

The ride includes a visit to the Rogue Brewery Hops Farm and a ferry boat ride across the Willamette River.

Eleven riders enjoyed perfect weather and lots of camaraderie.

I am one fortunate human being.
