A door just for me

Today we went to the Junior Museum and Zoo in Palo Alto. It's an awesome place for small people with hands on exhibits, and a small zoo that is set up so even wee people can see themselves. B had an amazing time from watching actual honey bees build a honeycomb, to climbing on a specially made spiders web.

The zoo keys B interested and his favorite animal was the bunny - or so he kept telling us. He also got to meet and touch his first snake, a python. It took a little while to pluck up his courage, where he watched the snake move and taste the air while looking around. Eventually he sat down and reached out and gently petted the snake.

By far one of his favorite things was the big exhibit where he could go into a room designed for someone just his height.

I think this is somewhere we will visit again
