Egg Toss

The first picnic of the weekend was the Taekwondo Family Picnic. I arrived late, missing the Taekwondo demonstration, because I was helping my brother with his dog's wounded Paw. I did arrive in time to see the egg toss. Being a veterinarian, I was of course worried about Salmonella. But I had to admit that it was great fun. There were some spectacular smashes of eggs as people caught them with gusto in both hands. There were some pairs who were able to keep up the toss for a long time and from an ever widening distance. It seemed as if the game would never end. Although eventually there was a winner.

Bob did not want to participate. Instead he played with the broken eggs. Ick!
