Back to Dawson falls! Chasing Perfection again.

Its a bit of a trek to get here and it took me the better part of another day and Im still not happy. I can't seem to get the exposure of the sky right above the waterfall. The highlights are blown! I have decided the answer is obvious now that I have the picture on my computer! I should have underexposed it. *face palm*

ETA I was using an ND8 filter.
