It's quite apt really that Marx had a number of meetings with Engels not far from here. Their meetings were the foundation of what became the communist manifesto. Strangely enough I am currently re-reading Engels book Condition of the working class in England. Amazing insights into post industrial revolution cities with a lot of focus on Manchester.

Unfortunately the rest of the day is given over to the unequal struggle of mammon. Sorry Karl.
