Daffodils were a bit tired

The daffodils in St Nicholas Kirkyard are looking a bit tired now. They were amongst the first to appear a few weeks ago, it looks like they have decided it is time to have a rest until next time.

I had to go to Boots to order a new pair of glasses, a task which took me into the city centre, and of course in the vicinity of a fruit tart. Regrettably the tarts are a mere fraction of the size they were until a few weeks ago, though I suspect the price has remained the same. I suppose that is a form of deflation which is also inflation.

Weather variable, quite long periods of sunshine, interspersed with some quite heavy showers. Luckily I managed to avoid the showers.
