A Pheasant Day Out

This morning walked around Grimwith Reservoir - following a recommendation from Wendles56

The scenery was stunning - views to distant fells - heather moorland - rolling hills - swathes of trees - reed beds - all contained within the boundary of the reservoir. This pheasant was spotted on the approach road to the reservoir.

Walked part of the Dalesway Trail this afternoon along the banks of the River Wharf - had a choice of crossing the river by either a suspension bridge or stepping stones
