Work Day

Out all day photographing a wedding. Bit of a toughie this one as the wedding ceremony was in a huge, cavernous and very dark church, so was a bit of a nightmare to take sensible photos in. Still, the reception made up for it as it was in a beautiful location on the Thames. The grounds were lovely, lots of trees laden with cherry blossom and the river flowing peacefully by. The venue even had their own resident peacocks strutting about the place and getting in all the photos.

Peacocks, I have learnt, are incredibly noisy birds! One of them crept up behind me while I was preoccupied, carefully lining up a shot, and squawked at the top of its voice! Not sure our insurance would cover accidental camera damage caused by peacock-induced heart attack!
