Telfords Bridge

Away to Aberlour for the weekend with the caravan. After the traditional cuppy as soon as the electric and water were attached to the van we were off out to explore the local area and give the dogs a run.
Originally tried to go and explore in Aberlour but the entrance to the car park was blocked by a flatbed lorry which looked like it was loading something big from the building site at the park so decided to explore a bit further afield. We finally stopped in Craigellachie where we spotted a car park with access onto the Speyside Way. The dogs had a ball running back and forward and exploring all the new smells and remarkably managed to stay dry (helped by the fact that we put their leads on when we got close to the wee beach by the bridge!) A very impressive piece of engineering and much nicer than the modern roadbridge which replaced it.
