Gorgeous day - wall-to-wall sunshine. Pottered in the garden for most of it, bar a trip into town to be told that age has finally caught up with me and I now need to wear READING GLASSES!!! I have been in denial for some time so the family are most pleased as I have been bullying them about their short-sightedness for years. What goes around comes around...

Early evening I took a stroll down to a friend's allotment to see if she was there. She wasn't but this pheasant was. It was a bit spooked at seeing me, but then settled down to strolling amongst the brassicas. What good looking birds they are, look at the feathers on that one...
