Dry Dock

This is a ship, in dry dock in Reykjavik.

So many thinks to blip today. I've fallen for this place and not even here 24hours yet. It's wild, it smells different, it, appears to be fiercely independent. It has a healthy music scene, it's polite, it's beer is good, it's prices are high but not as daft as folk would like u to believe, it's clean, it clearly has a great creative culture. It has fantastic record (yes record, but more about that tomorrow I hope) shops. It's clean, it has trolls and elves, it's relaxed, it's safe and it still feels wintery. Not a bad first impression.

Can't wait to get out of town in next few days and see how brilliantly wild it really is. Geysers, waterfalls northern lights, geothermal power station and hot springs all on the cards in next few days.
