Sharp little beak

After my serendipitous shot of the Daisy yesterday I thought about using my iPhone and macro lens again today. Except I have carefully tidied away the little magnetic lenses and now I can't find them!

I remembered this pair of scissors I bought to include on an embroidered scissor keeper I attempted to make (about ten years ago). The kit is still languishing unfinished somewhere and the scissors have been in a box in a drawer, awaiting their moment.

So this is the moment the birdy sewing scissors have been waiting for. I'll have to use them to snip some thread, or some such. Perhaps I can sew some farewell gifts for my Form Class? Oooh. That's an idea......
