Beautiful song from a Skylark

Today was bright, some cloud but chill wind. Did some washing, had breakfast and then headed out to Essex Wildlife Trusts Thameside Nature Park which was opened by David Attenborough last year. Had a walk around the new centre, up onto the roof which has good views up the River Thames, coffee and a walk. Saw lots of skylarks too quick for me to focus on and then later came across this one with a beak full of food. I was obviously near her nest as she sat on the post long enough for me to get a couple of shots and then flew down into the grass. After this we went to Langdon Visitor Centre and then for lunch out. This evening I have been to church ladies evening where we were entertained by some really good singers.
