Schloss Kyburg times two!

I had heard the cycle up to the castle (the steep way) was often spoken of in hushed tones as a rather steep climb. There was only one way to find out! Sure enough it's steep, but I climbed all the way and got that heart pumping! After a lunchtime swim, it was time to take the dog out, so we went back to the water's edge at the bottom of the valley and followed the river for a good hour and a half. It was time for her to have a swim too. As she tried stepping over the gentle cascades she got more than she bargained for, but hopefully lesson learned. Today we needed to get back to the car and in my adventurous (second day of the holiday's) mood, I wanted to find the wildlife park up in the woods. My navigation skills were fully challenged and by the time I saw the castle I knew where I need to be but could not fine the route down the steep sided hills to get there. Not only was I fortunate to get this view but our path ahead was crossed by two very young wild boar on our final descent. A special moment.
