Birdwatching Gruffalo

Today's photo is a bit surreal! We had a rare child-free day so went to a RSPB reserve. This photo was taken in a bird-hide to amuse a Gruffalo-obsessed child.

We saw a nightingale for the first time and I took lots of photos of a chiff-chaff with the big lens, but even on the occasions when I download the camera the same day, it's very rare that I also sync my phone so...

I quite like the thought that the daily blip shows something I quietly snapped on my phone.
