One of Airch's biggest pleasures on this trip has been simply climbing up onto a chair to have a good look out of the bedroom window before or after naps. The wee street, ferry passengers walking to or from the slipway, dogs, cats, birds, bicycles, boats, a beach, the odd tractor, postie's van or man with a wheelbarrow - it's all happening right outside.
