Bottle brush

This is our bottle brush bush tree or callistemon. I really like its flowers.
Today was a sad and a cold day. The morning started with 24C and then by noon the temperature had dropped to 9C. The weather can be so weird in Houston.
We went to the school district's board meeting tonight, because the French students of our school got honored for their accomplishment of winning first price in the state competition. It's great that the school board does these things. I can't remember growing up in the Netherlands that we ever had these kind of things. The only time you saw the school principal was when something bad had happened.

Anyway...bottle brush. Not the best picture, but it's all I got for today. Going to bed early, because I'm tired and hopefully will be more rested tomorrow to see and comment on your pictures.
