Make A Difference

Today was the presentation day for Grade 8 students who have researched and learned about an important topic that has made a difference in the world. He chose the topic of helping the honey bees which affect the agriculture and the American Beekeeping Federation for the organization that helps the bees. As an extension to the research, he has worked with two great mentors who showed him the ropes of being a beekeeper.
Rick and his wife attended the presentation - how lovely is that?

Along with the extensive facts, our son handed out packaged seeds of gold and white clovers with information brochures about local bee associations.

He did an excellent job! We are very proud! I am also proud of my students (my son's classmates) who will make a difference in this world by helping others and giving back.
