Computer says no

We knew it would happen one day. Our computer which is about 7 years old has stopped working. It just won't turn on at all. Probably fixable, but probably not worth it either. And anyway, it's XP which means it was about to be open to hacking. We got a new computer about 2 years ago and this one has been our media hub hooked up to the home theatre ever since. The annoying thing is that I now have to remember to bring my laptop home from work each day if we want to watch tv. We don't watch the actual tv. We just stream and download to watch at our leisure. Our tv really serves as a giant computer screen.
