I'm allowed to be silly. . .

. . . it's my birthday tomorrow!

We've all descended on the poor unsuspecting town of Bala for a few days.

Highlight of the journey was a buttock clenching ascent across a virtual cliff face, no barriers or nothing (double negative I know but it is nearly my birthday) The descent into Bala was amazing with the sun glinting on the lake.

The hotel Nanny and Papa are staying in has free wifi! They seem really friendly, we couldn't decide which drink to have, so they offered us a "wee sample" I know it's good for the complexion but we had to decline that one!!!

Excellent curry at the house were staying in , and a rowdy yes or no game, rounded the day off perfectly.
