MUM'S DOLLS

Whilst sorting things in preparation for her forthcoming house vmove, Mum showed me some of her precious dolls which she had as a child.
The little one bottom left, whom Mum called Nita, was a constant companion when Mum was evacuated during the war.
Unlike their modern equivalent, these dolls have china heads and limbs and I think, more character.
The largest doll Elizabeth , is life sized and is actually now dressed in an outfit I wore as a child.
