Typhoon Haiyan is the worst storm in history to have struck the Philippines.

An estimated six million workers lost their source of income; including 30,000 fishermen whose boats were destroyed.

IMPACT Philippines' is helping fishermen get back to work through our boat building programme. By providing them with boats we can help them get out at sea to start earning an income once more.

Here, two children are at one of our boat launches as the fishermen get back to sea.
