Red Kite Display

All day yesterday and early this morning we've been enthralled by seven or eight red kites playing overhead. They swooped down to fence height and back up into the sky, were locking claws and generally having fun. In all that time I didn't manage to get a decent shot. They were either too high up, in the sun, or swooping at speed. My poor little camera didn't stand a chance.

It isn't very good, but I just had to put together this collage.
