I couldn’t get my new remote control keyboard to connect with my new Mac after I changed the batteries for the first time today. So I decided to go into town to sort it out.

Apple Man soon put me right. It seems I’d failed to ‘power it up’ first - i.e. switch it on. You have to switch on the keyboard every time you change the batteries.

Fair enough - but I don’t think I would have found the on/off switch even if I’d known I had to power it up first.
