A sorry sight

I was going to blip the empty nest that the swallows use because we have not seen them yet and they are usually here by now. I was sitting having my breakfast outside and one, two, three of them zoomed past me into the shed where the nest is.

Just checking it's still there, I suppose. It looks as if the blackbirds might use it first as they did last year. That doesn't seem to put the swallows off.

But the sorry sight of the kayak after a winter outside will soon be dealt with.
