Passed!
Today was exam day! My last exam before I start on my thesis. 3 months of hard work and lots of studying ahead of me and then I should be done!
I had been a bit worried about this exam as I thought the syllabus would be hard to write a synopsis from, unless I used litterature from previous classes. I did hand in a synopsis I was happy about though, I used a mix of litterature from this subject and from the previous ones.
I arrived to the University ground and took the boys for a walk. On the way back, I met Rune from my class. He has been a top student since the beginning, so it was quite a shock to hear that he nearly failed his exam today as he had not used the the litterature from the syllabus enough! Argh!
I spent the next 30 mins trying to calm down and convince myself that I had what I had and it would be too late to change my presentation.
Next challenge was to find a way into the building, which was mostly closed due to the Easter Holiday. I got in, found the room that I was supposed to be in. It was all very empty. Hmmmm.... I took a walk around the building and eventually spotted one from my class. Phew!
One student in before me - he came out and thought it had gone really well. I told him about Rune, who only just passed. He was shocked too, but at least he was less surprised when he got a much lower grade than he had expected.
My exam went really well - time flew and I never felt in trouble. Knowing about the very low grades that had been given, I did not expect much though and was surprised when I got a 10, which is the 2nd best grade possible. I feel very very lucky. Phew!
After my exam, I met with the tutor, who will help me through my thesis, so now I have a plan for how to get started on that one too :-)
I stopped on the way home and trained dogs, so it ended up being a long day - but a good one. It has been a beautiful sunny day, but with a cold wind.
My picture today is the boys outside Roskilde University.
See you tomorrow.
