Steel Work Bridge

This is the old foot bridge into Glengarnock Steel Works, Maggie managed to shut the plant, although the equipment moved abroad and I believe is still running. It will of course be cheaper manpower, but the Tories had no care or will ever have a care for the working man. It came to my mind whilst out cycling, I have been going over old and new tools, this brought to mind the number of people who walked across this bridge and are no longer here, I attended the funeral of one today, an old school mate from my early days at school.
