Iris arch

Another gloriously sunny day, which is encouraging the bluebells and early clematis into flower. This lovely iris has sprung up in the front garden like a spear, towering over the grape hyacinth. I went out with the tripod and the macro 4 lens in the late afternoon sun to take a few shots as it was looking so colourful. Chris next door came out with Tinkerbell and said he had given the rhizomes to my predecessor after she had admired his (not sure that sounds right - her admiring his rhizomes!!!).

We are having an exciting time at the moment, with lots of thinking and planning towards a special event!!
