Patience is a Virtue!

Question..

If you decided to do some DIY repairs to a roof that you shared with your neighbour, which involved smashing a number of the neighbour's roof tiles - would you call in on said neighbour to have a chat with them about it before setting to the roof tiles with your trusty hammer?

Not my neighbours it would seem! I was horrified this afternoon when I went out to the garden to bring the boys in the wormery their lunch, to find my neighbour up a ladder busy smashing the ridge tiles on our shared roof. When I politely suggested that perhaps he should have warned me about what he was planning to do, his response was 'I did think about coming to chat to you but it went straight out of my head..'

Yeah right..here's hoping that his roofing skills are significantly better than his social skills.

Anyway, to take my mind off my eejit neighbour, I spent a pleasant evening menu planning for Big Sis and K's Easter visit, aided by Ninja and the Easter chicks.

We're thinking of going retro on Easter Sunday with a black forest gateau.. what do you think?
