"For the Fallen"

It seems appropriate that I dedicate tonight's blip to those who died on this date twenty five years ago at Hillsborough. I was reminded of all of this today listening to the moving speech of Everton F.C.'s Roberto Martinez. I still have vivid recollections of watching t.v. as the dreadful events unfolded. My heart goes out to those who lost family and friends and my admiration to the families and the city of Liverpool who fought courageously all those hard years to clear their names. Vindication for the innocent came at a high price for many. My prayers are with them. I leave to Laurence Binyon's poem The Fallen............
