Blood Moon
Tonight the full moon passed through the Earth's shadow. This is called a total Lunar Eclipse. The dusky "blood red" color is due to the scattering of sunlight through the edges of Earth's atmosphere. Such moons are sometimes nicknamed "Blood Moons."
Hope you are not superstitious about the creepy image. The world is not about to end.
