The princess takes a turn

Our neighboring town of St.Helens sits right on the Columbia river. Near the old courthouse, which I've blipped previously, is a small park and a playground. There is also an amphitheater of sorts for summer concerts, and a covered stage for the performers. Ethan, Alexa and I went there for a bit of playtime this afternoon, and had the place to ourselves. After a time on the playground, they discovered the empty stage. I was directed to take a seat and got to enjoy some exhuberant singing and dancing, with drama woven in throughout; Ethan had a cowboy show in mind, Alexa wanted to do princess dancing.
