A Sorry Sight

A sorry sight right off the side of I-5. :)

Today was a busy day, what with work and dealing with the Roxy situation. The animal control officer came and got her, but we will be getting her back in a few days barring any odd circumstances. It turns out she was not loved at all as some had conjectured, that the owner relinquished her to the city when he was served with neglect papers, and she now has to stay at the city police kennel until the whole affair can be sorted out, probably a couple of days. It was a stressful day and the dogs miss their new friend, but we are secure in the fairly certain return of Roxy as soon as the system is satisfied. I am so excited to know she will be coming home soon! Thanks, everyone, for your kind and caring comments on her picture yesterday. I will blip her as soon as we get her back and get her all cleaned up. They wouldn't let us groom her due to evidence for their case.
