A Feathered Visitor

This dove was on our vacation rental's porch roof this evening, and was not the tiniest bit afraid of me.

I talked to it and made pigeon noises at it as it watched me, first with one eye, then the other, but it showed no interest in flying away.

I've had close encounters with wild doves before, and one actually perched on my finger for a bit, but this one seems even more tame than that. Could it be someone's pet?
