GRANDMA BELLA & THE TULIPS

Busy day today, so here are some tulips in the morning sun with a photograph of my great-grandmother (I think). Mum gave me this picture after Dad died saying it was his grandmother (and therefore the mother of these chaps and their sisters). As far as I know she was called Isabella Stacey, and she may have been Irish. She would have been born in the late 1850s or 1860s probably, since Grandad was born in 1885. Dad used to refer to Grandma Bella, but I think she died before he was born. I must ask my sister. She's done the family research and she's the one with the Ancestry.co.uk subscription. I thought about joining, but the boiler's playing up and may wipe out any spare cash. :-(
