Poor wee cub

Bit of excitement in 'The Hazels' today when a little fox cub crawled out of the bushes just by our house. Some children from down the close were playing around our area and they found it thinking it was a kitten.
I came back with Lennon, in my car, and they were holding it and wondering where it had come.
One of the Mum's arrived and I tried to put the cub back into the bushes as we thought, but not certain, that we heard other cubs in the undergrowth. He turned straight around and came back out towards us.
Another Mum turned up with a cat box and it was decided that, because we couldn't see if the Vixen was in there, or other cubs, she'd take it home and call the RSPCA to see what they advised.
Problem is that lots of cats get into those bushes and we were worried about them attacking the cub if it was in there alone.
Hopefully Heather, the Mum with the cage, will let us know what happens.
