My favourite Drumnadrochit teacher

Here she is. Kirstine, who teaches primary 1 at Drumnadrochit. She is not only my favourite teacher, she is my daughter, of whom I am very proud.

On two occasions I have been a guest of her class. I think they thought it strange that a teacher had a Dad, but we had a good chat on both occasions.

Too often, the importance of education in the early years is forgotten, and so it is good to know that fellow Blipper @Feorlean, Cabinet Secretary for Education, is a great supporter of early years work.

It was rather windy this afternoon when I took this shot, but Kirstine seemed happy to humour me. Aren't daughters wonderful?
