Bingley

We were lucky enough to see a barge going up the five locks on the Leeds-Liverpool canal at Bingley today. I was struck by how the Damart Mill dominated every view.

Sal's feeling a bit better, but still not turning cartwheels. The cartwheel-o-meter is a useful guide to both her general health and frame of mind. Having been outside, walking, playing with the kids, on trips, or generally 'doing stuff' since 7am this morning, Jamie and I have poured a large vodka and tonic and are cooking a roast chicken dinner. He's doing most of the cooking, I'm doing most of the drinking. Life is good. Tiring, but good.
